The companies van Aerssen + Partner GmbH and rosomm gmbh found va:ro GmbH as a joint venture. The van Aerssen team moves to the location in Bedburg-Hau. This new, larger team (25 employees) now acquires clients such as Fuji, T-Online, Lidl, Flender und Müller Milch. |
| 2004 | eBay becomes a client and meets new challenges using the eLearning System of va:ro gmbh. |
| 2005 | The telecommunications company O2 und the German energy corporation RWE with its subsidiary Rheinbraun Brennstoffe also become clients. |
| 2006 | va:ro GmbH is renamed db-central GmbH. This is also the name of its range of software products. The company positions itself as a software producer and begins marketing its own products via a partner network. |
| 2006 | The company headquarters are moved to Kleve, the team is now made up of 42 staff. |
| 2007 | Benno van Aerssen und Dirk Rosomm successfully takeover Mezzanine Kapital in order to expand the db-central business which now has 58 employees. The product spectrum contains more than 80 modules in the areas of eLearning, Blended Learning, Content Management und eCommerce. |
